Four Greater Cincinnati commercial real estate veterans have joined Lee & Associates | Cincinnati.
The retail team of John Thompson, Chris Nachtrab and TC Bartoszek joined Lee & Associates | Cincinnati. Most recently, the trio was with Newmark. Thompson and Nachtrab both join Lee & Associates|Cincinnati as senior vice presidents, Bartoszek joins the firm as vice president.

John Rickert, president and executive managing director of Lee & Associates | Cincinnati, said the addition of these four industry veterans will help the firm’s clients navigate the changing retail and office environments.
“There is a customer-focused broad-based view of real estate that we are attempting to bring to the table,” Rickert told me. “We can do this job better as an industry.”
Jeff Rinkov, chairman and CEO of Lee & Associates, said the addition of four noteworthy brokers in Cincinnati is representative of what Lee & Associates is doing throughout the country and Canada. Lee & Associates is the largest broker-owned commercial real estate firm in the country with more than 150 independently owned and operated brokerage and property management offices. Lee & Associates opened three new offices in 2020.
Thompson, Nachtrab and Bartoszek had joined Newmark in 2015, back when the firm was Cushman & Wakefield | Cincinnati Commercial Realtors. Prior to that, they were part of Everest Commercial Real Estate Group Inc.
“We plan to keep doing what we’ve been doing for however many decades and hopefully do it better at Lee,” Nachtrab said.
Schneller joined CBRE in 1983, where he was named rookie of the year. Schneller said he has known Flynn and Rickert for years and was attracted to Lee & Associates | Cincinnati’s structure, which he said will give him the ability to move quickly to help clients navigate changes in the office market.
Coming from publicly traded companies, Nachtrab said at previous firms there was a responsibility to shareholders. As agents, they felt they should only be accountable to their clients.
“It takes an extra layer of distraction away from us,” Nachtrab said.
Thompson said they hope to grow the retail group at Lee & Associates | Cincinnati.
“We believe in the future of retail,” Thompson said. “It’s changing, but it isn’t going away.”
